We can offer different methods for cutting and collecting non-woody vegetation in a range of habitats including meadows, fens, footpaths and church yards. This includes brushcutting, pedestrian reciprocating mowing, compact tractor mounted mowers, tractor mounted flails and toppers and flail foraging. Management of woody vegetation is outlined in the scrub section. We can also provide whole meadow management.
Fen Management
We annually carry out cutting of fen vegetation using either brushcutters or a reciprocating mower with flotation tyres.
Flail Foraging
Flail foraging allows us to cut and collect large areas of vegetation including grass, bracken, rush and woody re-growth.
Tractor Mounted Flailing
We can provide a range of flailing options
including a front or rear mounted 2.75m wide heavy duty
flail, 1.5m front mounted flail shredder, flail collector
and a compact tractor side mounted side arm flail.
Pesticide Application
We have certificated operators for the knapsack application of pesticide allowing for spot treatment of weeds such as thistle and ragwort, regrowth of scrub and small areas of bracken.
In addition we can provide a spray tank with wander lances
for spot treatment.
